What are the most recommended formats for the open data portal?
To ensure that data are accessible, reusable and technically open, it is important that they are in formats that comply with the principles of open data: accessible, primary, updatable, machine processable, non-proprietary and free of usage restrictions.
The most recommended formats are, for example, for data without a spatial component: CSV, JSON or TXT; for data with a spatial component, GeoJSON, GeoPackage or Esri Shapefile (SHP) formats are recommended; and for linked data or data from external sources, HTML and API formats are recommended.
