Datos Abiertos Cabildo de Tenerife informs about the latest datasets available in the portal and those on which work is in progress.

This September, the call for the I Open Data Contest: Reuse Cases, which will reward innovative projects and ideas where data from the portal datos.tenerife.es is used, is still available . In this regard, a tutorial has been published along with a video detailing the steps to register and submit proposals for the contest.

 

New sets: Incidences of Fasnia and origin-destination matrix of july

In the last month, regarding urbanism and infrastructures, the dataset of municipal incidents of the Fasnia City Council has been published , where the information of incidents notified by citizens is included. It is possible to visualize the location of these incidents in the GeoJSON format resource.

In addition, Datos Abiertos has published the latest July update of the monthly data of the Origin-Destination Matrixset of public transport of the island of Tenerife, which allows consulting all the information on the relationships between the places of origin and destination of the trips made by the population, from the initial stop to the final stop, including transfers. These data are provided by Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife - TITSA, Metropolitano de Tenerife - MTSA and Transportes La Esperanza - TLE.

 

Under study: Activity in the Tenerife Auditorium, Cold portions and more data

Datos Abiertos Tenerife is making progress in the analysis of data sets related to AgroCabildo's weather stations, in this case, the cold portions according to the dynamic model. This information is of vital use to farmers, allowing the optimization of planting areas and crop selection.

In the category of culture and leisure, the development of the set of activities managed by the Auditorio de Tenerife continues and, with the aim of continuing to promote transparency in public administrations, the publication of data relating to the organization of the Cabildo de Tenerife, in terms of its organization chart and administrative units, will soon be available .

In the area of the environment, progress continues to be made in the publication of data on the invasive exotic species detected in the Teno Rural Park, specifically the species known as "cat's tail", and work is beginning on the guide to the use of plant species in Tenerife.

On the other hand, it should be noted that resources in GeoJSON and GeoPackage format will be added within the dataset of meteorological stations of Tenerife, to show the stations on the map.

The Cabildo de Tenerife Open Data Portal continues its work to make available to citizens as many datasets as possible, as well as their dissemination and diffusion to encourage development and innovation.
