The Tenerife Open Data portal continues to make progress in the dissemination of data that contributes not only to greater transparency in public management but also, and essentially, to the reuse of information to generate new applications, solutions and employment opportunities.

Datos Abiertos Cabildo de Tenerife, through Diario de Proyecto, will present each month the roadmap of the work of opening data to make known what is being worked on to make it available to citizens, companies and administrations, with the aim of moving towards greater transparency and citizen knowledge.

On May 16, the Open Data portal of the Cabildo de Tenerife will star in the Webinar "Creating opportunities" of the "Cátedra Caja Siete of Big Data, Open Data and Blockchain" of the University of La Laguna (link to for registration) with the aim of publicizing cases of reuse by companies and administrations and possible ways of use for the development of new innovative solutions.

The Open Data portal of the Cabildo de Tenerife continues its commitment to the dissemination of useful data for citizens, administrations and companies. With this objective, since March, it has incorporated 7 new data sets on the structure of territorial drainage and sources of water supply on the island of Tenerife, provided by the Consejo Insular de Aguas de Tenerife (CIATF).

The new Open Data Portal of the Cabildo de Tenerife, which replaced the Tenerife Data portal, has completed its first year of operation , with more than 200 datasets made available to citizens, companies, researchers and institutions, to promote their knowledge and reuse.
