
May 2025: new section for announcements on the portal and other news
During the month of May, the Open Data portal of the Cabildo de Tenerife continues to advance in its commitment to transparency and reuse of public information. Through the publication and updating of datasets, as well as their active dissemination, free access to information is promoted and its use in the development of new services, applications and projects of value to citizens is facilitated. Among this month's novelties are:
- New section of notices: Now you will be able to subscribe to the Notices of the Open Data Portal of the Cabildo de Tenerife to keep up to date with all relevant updates to the portal. Receive notices such as: scheduled maintenance, new resources or datasets, changes in datasets or resources...
- Data update in the Tenerife Mouflon Control dataset: consult the April 2025 data.
- New sets of the Origin-Destination Matrix of public transport of the island of Tenerife with data from February, March and April 2025.
- Accessibility map of the island of Tenerife: new set in the portal, containing the collection of data on the level of accessibility of places of public use of interest in urban consolidated areas of the island of Tenerife carried out in the Accessibility Map project. The updated data on the Accessibility Map, which will replace the previous sets published by phases of the project, will be published in this set from May onwards.
- New video about the winners of the I Open Data Contest in the playlist of the Cabildo's Open Data portal.
Upcoming sets: Cabildo administrative files and procedures, exotic species
and daily traffic intensity
Some datasets will soon be available in the portal, such as the Cabildo's administrative files and procedures, invasive alien species detected in the Teno Rural Park or the Daily Traffic Intensity data in the road network of the island of Tenerife by gauging stations.
Under Study: State of the BALTEN reservoirs, energy production by photovoltaic plants and the Tenerife Rural Foundation
In order to increase the catalog of data available in the portal, some data under study are the state of the BALTEN reservoirs, energy production by photovoltaic plants and data from the Tenerife Rural Foundation.
