On May 16, the Open Data portal of the Cabildo de Tenerife will star in the Webinar "Creating opportunities" of the "Cátedra Caja Siete of Big Data, Open Data and Blockchain" of the University of La Laguna (link to for registration) with the aim of publicizing cases of reuse by companies and administrations and possible ways of use for the development of new innovative solutions.

The Open Data portal of the Cabildo de Tenerife continues its commitment to the dissemination of useful data for citizens, administrations and companies. With this objective, since March, it has incorporated 7 new data sets on the structure of territorial drainage and sources of water supply on the island of Tenerife, provided by the Consejo Insular de Aguas de Tenerife (CIATF).

The new Open Data Portal of the Cabildo de Tenerife, which replaced the Tenerife Data portal, has completed its first year of operation , with more than 200 datasets made available to citizens, companies, researchers and institutions, to promote their knowledge and reuse.

Open Data Day will be celebrated between March 2 and 8, 2024, a celebration organized worldwide with the aim of getting different working groups, public administrations and civic organizations to join forces to make open data the main protagonist, promoting and using open data in their communities.
