How to submit proposals to the I Open Data Contest Cabildo de Tenerife
To participate in the I Open Data Competition Cabildo de Tenerife, proposals can be submitted in person or online through the Electronic Headquarters of the Cabildo de Tenerife. The Cabildo has published the rules of the contest last July 23 and the call will be available until October 23, 2024.
The first Cabildo de Tenerife Open Data Competition aims to reward the best ideas that make innovative use of the open data sets available on the portal datos.tenerife.es. Whether it is a study project, a service, an educational resource, a website or a mobile application, it is important that your proposal demonstrates the economic and social benefits of open data.
In this article we review the steps to apply for registration and submit proposals through the Cabildo's Electronic Headquarters.
ACCESS THE PROCEDURE
In the procedures and services block of the Cabildo's Headquarters, after entering the word "contest" in the search engine, among the results you will find the call for the "I Open Data Contest: Ideas for Reuse".
IDENTIFICATION AT THE HEADQUARTERS
Once you have chosen the option "Process online", you must identify yourself at the electronic office using one of the Cl@ve identification methods, either by using Certificate/Electronic ID, Cl@ve PIN, Cl@ve Permanent, Cl@ve mobile, or identification systems from other EU countries.
FILLING OUT THE FORM
To fill in the form you must first select the type of person, the means of communication and state the motivation for the request.
Both natural and legal persons can participate, except for public administrations, entities dependent on them and persons who have participated directly or indirectly in the call and the development of the portal. The same individual or legal entity may submit as many applications as they wish, either individually or jointly.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION
In the step of attaching the supporting documentation to the form, the Cabildo can take care of consulting some of these documents if you authorize their consultation in the application (document intermediation), therefore, it would no longer be necessary to include them. In summary, these are the documents required to complete the application.
- Application
- Proposal in digital format
- DNI
- Certificate of being up to date in the fulfillment of obligations with the State Tax Administration.
- Certificate of being up to date in the fulfillment of obligations with the Canary Islands Treasury.
- Certificate of being up to date with the Cabildo of Tenerife
- Certificate of being up to date in the fulfillment of obligations with the Social Security.
Finally, to complete the application, it is necessary to provide the document that explains in detail the reuse proposal and, in addition, other complementary documents can be attached.
SIGNING AND SUBMITTING THE APPLICATION
The next step is to sign and submit the application. The Cabildo recommends choosing the option "the Cabildo of Tenerife signs and submits the application on my behalf", as this is the most resilient in terms of problems that may occur in the signing process.
Finally, a summary will be displayed with the result of the application, in which all the details of the application are specified, together with the possibility of downloading the proof of having made the registration.
