In the portal's datasets, you can view their star rating according to the guide developed by Tim Berners-Lee. This system shows the degree of openness and technical usability of a dataset.

The first star is awarded to any data that is open at a basic level and available under an open license. We can find PDF files or image formats such as JPEG, PNG or TIFF, which are difficult to reuse.

Datasets can be defined as data that are "related, suitably structured and organized so they can be appropriately treated (processed) to obtain information" (definition extracted from Open Data. Strategic guide for its implementation. FEMP minimum data sets that should be published.).
Every dataset comprises one or more resources or distributions, available in different formats (file, web service, etc.).
