June 2024: Open Data portal roadmap

Datos Abiertos Cabildo de Tenerife, through Diario de Proyecto, will present each month the roadmap of the work of opening data to make known what is being worked on to make it available to citizens, companies and administrations, with the aim of moving towards greater transparency and citizen knowledge.

Thus, in the field of Environment, the analysis phase of the data sets of the circular communities bio-wasteproject (community composting) has begun , and in the field of Energy, work is being done on data linked to wind and photovoltaic energy production.

On the other hand, it is necessary to highlight the opening of the data sets on gauging stations and the average daily traffic intensity on the island's roads, with information corresponding to light and heavy vehicles, between 2018 and 2023.

Likewise, Datos Abiertos has already made available to the public the latest monthly data of the Origin and Destination Matrix, which shows the relationships between the places of origin and destination of the trips made by the population using public transport on the island of Tenerife.

It is a structured collection of data that records all the information of a person's journey by public transport, from the initial stop to the final stop, including transfers. The data of this matrix comes from the public transport service provided by Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife - TITSA, Metropolitano de Tenerife - MTSA and Transportes La Esperanza - TLE.

In this way, in this journal we will be giving an account of the data sets closer to their dissemination, but always after a thorough analysis, data checking and optimization.
