February 2025: new year, new sets on the portal

In February, the Cabildo de Tenerife's Open Data portal starts the year with new data sets, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and the reuse of public information. This effort allows individuals, companies and organizations to access updated resources, fostering the creation of new services and applications for the benefit of the community.

As a novelty, the sets of cold portions according to the Dynamic Model (Fishman et al., 1987) in Tenerife and the Guide to plant species of Tenerife, which includes information on the potential uses of plant species on the island, are now available.

In the training section, it is possible to consult the last published article: Possibilities of the CSV format in the Open Data portal of the Cabildo, which delves into the nature of this format and its applications inside or outside the portal.

Forthcoming sets: Daily traffic intensity, Tenerife ON data, Infoten and Activities managed by the Tenerife Auditorium.

Reviewing the datasets that will be available on the portal, we can mention some of them, such as the daily traffic intensity in the network of races on the island of Tenerife by gauging stations or the Tenerife ON public use dataset, with information on trails, forest tracks and other activities in nature.

Data will also be published on invasive exotic species detected in the Teno Rural Park, on the Sports Agenda of the Sports Service of the Cabildo, on Activities managed by the Tenerife Auditorium and on the Tenerife Tourist Information Offices Network (Infoten).

Under Study: Map of accessibility, sports facilities and Rural Tenerife.

Some of the data that continue to be developed are: data on the level of accessibility of places of public use of interest in Tenerife, as part of the updating of the Island's Accessibility Map.

Progress is also being made on the sets of sports facilities of Tenerife and the Tenerife Rural Foundation.
