A month of global initiatives: Open Data Day 2025
Beyond the European Open Data Days, the month of March also hosts the Open Data Day 2025, a global initiative promoted by the Open Knowledge Foundation, which took place from March 1 to 7 with more than 50 events in different countries. These events explored the role of open data in solving global problems and provided spaces for learning and collaboration around the world.
In Spain, the event that emerged from this initiative was the "Open Data Day 2025: Women leading Open Data for equality". An event that brought together women experts in data technology and open data to share knowledge and experiences regarding open data.
