
March 2025: discover the new sets offered by the portal
In March, the Cabildo de Tenerife's Open Data portal is loaded with new features, with multiple additions of datasets that expand the possibilities of access and reuse of public information. Read on to discover all the additions to the portal.
In the training section we have a new reuse proposal, the Use Case: FloraTenerife, guide to plant species of the island, which proposes the development of a web portal with an interactive map using data from the data set Guía de Especies Vegetales de Tenerife (Tenerife Plant Species Guide).

- Regarding data on public use of Tenerife ON, the set of Recreational facilities of the island of Tenerife is now available, which includes data on camping areas, recreational areas, parking lots and campsites in Tenerife... Also available is data on Itineraries of the island of Tenerife, with updated information on trails, routes for bicycles and horses or routes for motor vehicles.
- Regarding updated information on Tourism, the information on Tenerife Tourist Information Offices of the Infotén Network is also available on the portal.
- The last set of data, on culture and leisure and sports, is the Tenerife Sports Agenda, with information on sporting events that have taken place or will take place in Tenerife organized by, or in collaboration with, the Cabildo of Tenerife.
Upcoming events
Data on invasive exotic species detected in the Teno Rural Park, the Activities managed by the Tenerife Auditorium or daily traffic intensity in the network of races on the island of Tenerife by gauging stations will also be published on the portal in the near future.
Under study
Progress continues to be made on all the data of the Tenerife Rural Foundation, and on the data on the level of accessibility of places of public use of interest in Tenerife, as part of the updating of the Island's Accessibility Map. Progress is also being made in the study of data on energy production by photovoltaic plants and the state of the BALTEN reservoirs.
